FC&HFK WORKSHOP

The Evangelism Explosion workshop held at Living Water Spring Church Ngozi was a resounding success, with 55 participants from various churches coming together to learn and get equipped with the necessary tools for effective evangelism. During the workshop, participants engaged in two different training programs: Flip Chat (FC: evangelism tools taught to adults) and Hope for Kids (HFK: :evangelism tools taught to children);27 participants from 15 churches enrolled in FC and 28 participants from 16 churches enrolled in HFK.

The workshop aimed to empower attendees with evangelism tools and encourage them to incorporate evangelism as a daily practice in their lives as Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:2.The teachings brought insight, hope, and redemption to those who were in doubt and searching for answers and 6 HFK trainees received the gift of eternal life.

In addition to the lectures, there were evangelism on-the-job training sessions where groups of 2 participants went out into the community to put their new found skills into action. They engaged in real-life evangelism experiences and shared their faith. FC trainees reached out to 58 and among them 26 received the gift of eternal life. HFK trainees shared the Good News with the kids, members of Christ Life Church Ngozi. On the last day of the workshop, the trainees were given certificates which enable them to teach others how to testify. The participants felt more confident in their ability to effectively evangelize, and were appreciative to the organizers of the workshop.
