Celebrating Passion for Evangelism: March & April 2025 Highlights

We are thrilled to share the inspiring experiences from two impactful Evangelism Explosion (EE) training events held here in Burundi earlier this year. These trainings show us the unwavering dedication of believers—both adults and youth—in sharing the Gospel and reaching the lost souls with God's love.

 From March 24th to 27th, we conducted a dynamic EE training in Kayero, Rutana Province, bringing together 28 participants from 15 churches. Trainees engaged in lively discussions, and insightful questions that deepened their understanding of evangelism tools. Despite some apprehensions among some trainees, prayer and encouragement helped dispel fears, enabling them to embrace their calling.

During the On-the-Job Training (OJT), participants experienced powerful moments of outreach, reaching 110 people. Of these, 40 accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and 9 encouraged to remain active in sharing their faith. We thank God for planting seeds of salvation and pray for His guidance and strength over these new believers.

From April 21st to 24th, was the “Hope for Kids”, Kids ’EE which focus on equipping participants to train kids how to share the Gospel. A total of 40 participants from 22 churches attended, including 11 new churches joining the program. The atmosphere was filled with joy and passion as everyone engaged deeply with the lessons. Many expressed a desire for the training to continue, recognizing their calling to evangelize.

During OJT, trainees reached out to 25 neighborhood children, with 15 receiving the Gift of Eternal Life. The experience touched hearts deeply, with some trainees moved to tears upon witnessing the power of God at work through their efforts. They realized firsthand that God can use anyone committed to sharing His love.

We give all glory to God for His faithfulness and the transformation these trainings have brought.
