Equipping Burundian Youth for Evangelism

We hope you and your family are all doing well.

Being a young Christian today is really challenging. In the midst of this dark and wicked world, young people face many temptations, and drown to their desires. However, young believers need unceasing guidance, support and encouragements to stand firm and shine their light to their peers, neighborhood, at school and everywhere they go.

The population of Burundi is quite young with more than 50% of the people under the age of 18. It is in that perspective that the Evangelism Explosion Burundi organizes a yearly Evangelism Convention targeting Youth. This Year, the Youth Convention-EE4G took place at GIA (Gitega International Academy) on 21 to 25 July. The purpose was to train youth in evangelism using EE4G, which is an evangelism tool for Youth. It turned out to be an amazing experience for everyone. We received 177 participants from 59 churches in all corners of Burundi.

The zeal and determination of the teens as they learned to use the EE4G Evangelism tool really amazed us. On 24^th, after a heartfelt devotion, 55 teens gave their Life to Jesus.

During the OJT (On-the-Job-training) at the central market of Gitega and surrounding areas on July 24, they reached 536 people, and as a result, 129 individuals confessed their faith in Jesus Christ. All Glory to God! We praise Him for those lost souls found and brought back to God.

 We praise God from the bottom of our heart for what He is accomplishing in our Ministry. We are now receiving positive outcomes from the teens and It's encourage us to move forward.
