Imagine if sharing the Gospel could change a life forever...

It all started when my wife told me these words: “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to God except through Jesus.” At that time, I was going through a lot and didn't really know where to turn. That verse stayed with me. And when a friend invited me to a two-day evangelism crusade, my life never remained the same. It was during that event that I placed my trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Imagine if sharing the Gospel could change a life forever! Mine has been changed forever.

When my local church Pastor at Christian Life Ministry, Burundi, announced there was going to be an Adult evangelism training, I was so excited at the opportunity to learn how to share the Gospel that changed my life, so I joined the program.

Since then, I have made evangelism a part of my life.

Very often in the morning, after I take my kids to school, I set aside one or two hours to go around Bujumbura with a friend who helps to translate the Gospel message to Kirundi, the main language used in Burundi. The Evangelism Explosion’s Grace, Man, God, Jesus, and Faith Gospel presentation has helped me a lot to communicate the good news clearly and effectively. By the Grace of God, I have witnessed God's divine love and power as many people have come to Jesus. I used to count the number of people each day, but I stopped and left it to the Lord. I believe that I have witnessed thousands of people receiving Jesus. It is such an amazing thing to witness how to the uttermost He saves us.

When the words “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life” came to life in me, I couldn’t sit idly by when I know there are so many people around me, just like I was, desperately need the message of Salvation. 

I truly believe that Evangelism is a life-saving emergency. Evangelism has become my passion and my purpose. Through the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I sincerely hope to surrender myself to doing God's will until the day He calls me home.

“We must work while it is day or night, when no one can work.” If you do not know how to share the Gospel, seek opportunities to learn. If you have people around you who need the Gospel, you have an opportunity to share it. Do not wait, share now!
